Welcome To Our Spring Edition!
As I type, it’s a beautiful Spring morning and I am managing to have a sneaky coffee in a beachfront cafe with the sun streaming in through the window – let’s hope this is the sign of things to come!
It has been such a busy time at Me Too! and I am excited to share lots of news with you. The relaxed ice skating session was a huge success and we are looking forward to hosting this again - special thanks to our friends at Border Digital who put together some lovely footage – check out our Facebook page if you haven’t already!
I have been completely overwhelmed with the number of volunteers that stepped forward at our event in January to help Me Too! and I am delighted to welcome into the office our admin ‘ninjas’ who are keeping me on the straight and narrow – you can find their details in the who’s who section.
Thank you also to the group of event ninjas and supporters who have completed the nippy dipper and pledged more fundraising this year for us, as well as support from Austin Crow’s disco – see the above photo of our presentation.
We are still looking for runners for the Great Aberdeen Run if you or anyone you know is looking for a challenge could and help a small local charity where money stays in the North-East. In addition if you have a skill or some time (or both!) please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Volunteer Ninja who would be delighted to welcome you on board!
I am so excited to share with you the first ever Me Too! Show (details of which are on the back cover). This is a chance for organisations and groups to showcase the services and facilities that may benefit your family, as well as information workshops and a chance to meet others. The event is FREE, but registration is required.
Lastly, as part of the Me Too! Show, I would encourage you all to vote at the Me Too! Awards and help us recognise and celebrate businesses and organisations that are getting it right for our families – after all they deserve our recognition.
I do hope you get a chance to enjoy your children over the Easter period – fingers crossed for more sunny weather!
Till Next Time…..
